WASFAA is searching for our next class of leaders, and we think you might be exactly who we need! Our association thrives because of members like you.

Serving on WASFAA’s leadership team is more than a résumé booster. It’s a transformative experience that expands your professional horizons, deepens your understanding of higher education, and connects you with colleagues who often become lifelong friends. Ask any past leader and they’ll tell you about the skills they gained, the confidence they built, and the joy of working with the Wisconsin financial aid community.

If you’re ready to step forward or know someone who would shine in one of these roles, we want to hear from you! Remember, nominating yourself or another person is an act of encouragement, not pressure! Here’s what’s open:

• President-Elect (3-year term): A true leadership adventure! You’ll learn, lead, and help mentor the next generation while shaping WASFAA’s vision and guiding decisions that matter.
• Treasurer-Elect (3-year term): If you love numbers, this is your moment! You’ll help steward WASFAA’s financial health and ensure our resources fuel our mission.
• Secretary (2-year term): Communicator and organizer extraordinaire! You’ll help keep our work moving forward with clarity and consistency.
• Member-At-Large (2 positions, 2-year term): Be the voice of our membership! Bring fresh ideas, represent diverse perspectives, and help steer initiatives that strengthen our community.
